Crashes Chrome Canary with gifs #231

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.on reddit.com
2.Trying to hover over a gif will crash Chrome :(
takes a few seconds to crash mostly from i.imgur.com or imgur.com

Hover Zoom version: 3.9
Google Chrome version: 20.0.1097.0 canary
Operating system: Windows 7

Sorry for not answering that.
I think it was a Chrome bug, as canary builds can be fairly unstable.
