What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Happens when trying to add extension to chrome
2.
3.

Hover Zoom version:4.0
Google Chrome version:Latest
Operating system:Vista

I have the same issue, it happened after I had to hard reset my computer.

For some reason it seems to have been fixed. I tried to install it gain and it 
worked. This was after several shut downs and no reconfiguration.

After using HoverZoom for 6 weeks now, I turn on chrome and it has disappeared 
from my extensions and it won't re-install. Any idea why?

I'm having the same problem with Hover Zoom. It disappeared and I when I go to 
download I get "This application is not supported on this computer. 
Installation has been disabled." and "There was a problem adding the item to 
Chrome. Please refresh the page and try again." I'm using RockMelt.

HoverZoom was working great. Then I had to reinstall Chrome, and it had 
disappeared from my extensions. When I tried to reinstall it, I got a similar 
but not identical message: "An error occurred: Item not found. This item may 
have been removed by its author."
