Transparent SVGs are overlapped onto their own thumbnails

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alpha_channel
2. Move mouse over image in Description section

Hover Zoom version: 4.0
Google Chrome version: 19.0.1084.46 beta
Operating system: Ubuntu 12.04

The text is misaligned, and the dark area in the "A out B" column and the 
second row is much darker than it should be.
Please remove the scaled thumbnail after the image has been loaded (or as it's 
loading, if possible).
