Hmmh, but maybe one could deploy the entire GraphHopper, including graphhopper-web and then query the started jetty-server via http://localhost :) !?

Last year when I looked at RoboVM it wasn't easy to create a library for iOS which is then used from native iOS code. But when I read this article today it seems time has changed: http://www.infoworld.com/article/2835160/java/robovm-enables-java-to-ios.html
we showed how one can build an app for both Android and iOS using native UIs but still reuse large portions of the code between the two platforms
