[Q] Is development dead on this? Can't find it in the RHEL8 EPEL repo #952

We heavily depend on python-carbon as the go-between between our monitoring system, CheckMk, and Grafana. CheckMk writes to whisper files via carbon-cache and Grafana reads from the whisper files.

We're replacing our RHEL7 server and I cannot find the python-carbon package in the RHEL8 or 9 EPEL repos.

Hi @armada-lmt

We have never been involved in packaging Graphite, distro maintainers did that. I see python-carbon in Fedora but not in EPEL8/9 - https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-carbon Sorry, but I doubt we can help with that issue.
