Not working under WordPress 4.5.2 and Polylang 1.9.1 #28

I'm trying to use your pluging under WordPress 4.5.2 and Polylang 1.9.1, PHP version 5.6.18.

Unfortunately, it shows the notice Polylang Slug requires Polylang v1.7 and WordPress 4.0, which actually shouldn't be showing because the version is tested for greater/equal. Also if I skip the version check, slugs are still always changed to about-en or about-2 when using your plugin. Any help would be appreciated

The plugin works fine for me with WordPress 4.5.2 and Polylang 1.9.1 (and PHP 5.6.21). Must be something related to your setup (installed plugins, configuration etc.)

I am running the latest versions without an issue. Have you tried disabling the plugin and activating a default theme?

I had the same issue on WP 4.5.3 Multsites. The following configuration fixed it:

Network activate Polylang plugin
Localy activate Polylang Slug plugin on each required site (when network activated i faced the error described in this threaad)
