Use Emacs built-in function to build query string #1

Nice one! Didn't know about that built-in.

I've merged it the next branch (that's were I think makes sense to do development without sending people new "versions" with every commit via MELPA). However I forgot to change the base branch of this PR to next and doing it now causes some errors. So this PR will be closed but your changes will end up in master sooner or later.

You can use melpa-stable for "stable" releases: Just tag your commits with a version.
