I said about as much in #85, but I'm going to set aside some money to cover plane tickets if someone needs it.

That's an amazing idea @rummik. If my situation allows, I'd love to contribute to a fund like that as well. Honestly, even if I can't make it, I'd chip in. It's good to make sure all the right people are there, regardless of financial situation :)

Is this the sort of thing where a twitter blast might be helpful? Thinking folks might have followed along at various points, but just not in the queues now. Retreat was definitely what made me consider more involvement :)

I see no reason why I wouldn’t be there for at least Friday evening and Saturday. Might come out Sunday, depending on girlfriend activities.

I might even see if I can convince her to come out and lend a graphic design hand for some of it. She’s looking for things to help build her portfolio.

I'm still going to try, but I need to factor in possible job-hunting interviews and my post-xmas finances :) So I'll be making a very last-minute decision.

If someone were driving down from Toronto-area, it would be almost a no-brainer, but as it stands, it's probably irresponsible for me to go. (that doesn't mean I won't!)

Sorry guys but my attempts to get my passport renewed on time have failed and I'll have to miss out. Have a great time and I'm sure that @kaguillera will do a good job of representing for T&T !

I'm still intending to come, but might get pulled away. Brigette will be tending to one of our dogs, whose puppies are due sometime in the next few days. The dog is mine; I'll have several hours notice of when it's going to happen and I need to be there. So, hope that it happens Sunday or Monday like our calendar says and not earlier.

Sorry guys, the airline lost all my luggage on the way to Toronto, so I think that's the final complication that's going to derail this plan for me :(
