The project sources, spread across a few dozen repositories, live at https://github.com/virtualmin/

We've been around as an open source project since ~2003, and there are well over 100,000 active installations worldwide. We offer a commercial version, which includes support and some extra plugins (so it's sort of an "open core" model, but even most of the non-core modules are also open source under the GPL). We've had folks wanting to contribute via donations, as well, and Gratipay seems like a great way to handle it.

I'm the co-founder of the project, along with Jamie Cameron (who also created and maintains Webmin, on which Virtualmin is built). Any funds raised will be distributed amongst current active contributors; generally with a focus on improving our community infrastructure and ongoing improvements to the UI (Ilia Rostovstev has been developing the UI for Webmin/Virtualmin for the past couple of years, originally as a volunteer).
