Currently a large percentage of the features with that tag are Covid19 test stations - of which the vast majority probably do not exist any more. It would be important to assess:
- roughly how many uses of the tag exists that are not abandoned Covid19 test stations.
- what kind of tests the other test these mostly take samples for.
Note real world prevalence of these will strongly vary from country to country due to differences in healthcare systems and if sample collections predominantly happens at dedicated places or in hospitals/at doctors.
This tag has been used 1161 times. I assume that it should actually be used more often, as sometimes such facilities are incorrectly labeled as laboratories, at least in Ukraine.
