Submitter: Ruth Janning Email: janning@ismll.de 1) Although the task to produce a fraction equivalent to 1/2 was solved (!) and the fraction was compared with the comparison tool to 1/2:

• there was the hint 'How can you check ... that your solution is correct' (but that was done already)
• and the next button was not on (was translucent)
• then the hint 'you can use the comparison box ...' was given, although already done (!) as mentioned
• if one then pressed the next button (although translucent) then several times (!) the popoup 'if you need help ... ask your teacher' appeared
• and immediately the popup 'it seems that you are not ready' appeared
• and suddenly (immediately after) the next button was no longer translucent and one could go to the next task

Problem: there were hints given which made no sense, as the task was already solved and the proposed aktions were already applied. Further general problem: it is not clear when the task is finished, as nothing sensefull happens when the task is solved.

Similar case: Although fractions of all kinds of representations where created (that was the task), there was the hint 'Excellent, ... create another representaion ...'. But the task was solved! Why does the TDS asks to create a further fraction although everything asked for was created?

2) A fraction was generated but then thrown to the waste basket. Afterwards there was the hint 'What do you need to do to change a fraction ...', although the fraction was no longer there on the desk.

There are several problems:

1) compare box not recognised 2) end of 2.1 one recognised 3) feedback provided when fraction was thrown into waste basket

The first 2 points are fixed.

I am unable to reproduce point 3. My assumption is that feedback was generated before the fraction was placed in the waste basket.

I will close this bug as fixed.
