Too many dangling links panes… #15

Thank you for a really useful plugin.

Apologies if my vocabulary isn’t right, but would it be possible to change it so that it only creates one pane…

Some of those were loaded by clicking on the Dangling Links button - and some by running the command.

Might it be possible for that command to re-use any existing Dangling Links pane, instead of creating a new one?

In the meantime, is there a way to close all-but-one of the open ones?

In case it helps others, I've found a workaround:

  1. disable the Dangling Links plugin - this closes all the Dangling links panes
  2. then re-enable the plugin
  3. then click its "Show dangling links panel" button just once

Is there a use-case where one would like to have multiple dangling links panes? Perhaps have one pane grouped by link, another grouped by folder or file, and have both of them visible at the same time? Personally, I don't use this kind of workflow (I'm only grouping by link), but I'm wondering if this is the reason why it's currently possible to create multiple dangling links panes.

Maybe the behavor could be changed:
