Setting "Check Expire During Authentication" does not work

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Setting "Check Expire During Authentication (Advanced) = TRUE" !
2. Login as a user with an expired password.

What is the expected output? 

User has to change the password and will be directly forwarded to the "Change 
password" page. 

What do you see instead?
The main menu is displayed!

What version of PWM are you using?
1.6.4

What ldap directory and version are you using?

eDirectory 8.8.6 (SP2)

Please paste any error log messages below:

In the logfile the user has the following status information:
PasswordStatus {expired=true, pre-expired=false, warn=false, 
violatesPolicy=false}

Hi all, We have the same issue with edir 887 pwm 1.6.4 on OES11. 

When you login to PWM, you sit on the main screen even though the trace shows 
password expired. Is this expected? Once you enter any other page, it then 
redirects you to the password change after clicking "continue" etc from 
password history/account information etc.

Will this affect checkExpire fucntionality, which I'm currently trying to test?
