How to use this code on our Hive?

Where/how to save it?

Please help, otherwise this code is useless...

Yes

ok, so I've not done this for a few years so this is off the top of my head. THis is for the SLR1

I'm using separate config files hence the different folders, but I guess you can just add them all to your configuration.yaml file. Make a backup of that file first just in case this doesn;t work

First off, I'd install MQTT HVAC integration and create the MQTT entries, so copy the contents of the config_mqtt/hive.yaml into your configuration.yaml file and restart.

After that, install simple thermostat https://github.com/nervetattoo/simple-thermostat

and then use the config in the readme to create the simple thermostat control. I think this goes in configuraiton.yaml as well.

You will probably also need to rename your SLR1 to 'heating' and the thermostat to 'remote'. Also check update HA entity ID when doing that

restart everything and that (the simple thermostat card) should pick up something from the thermostat.
