What about an aerial photo of a bunch of homes in a sunny valley, many w solar panels on their roofs?

https://www.flickr.com/photos/80901381@N04/7787881458 -- might be neat to use a CC photo on flickr and do the appropriate licensing mark. @mollieru -- thoughts on a pattern v. image replacement?
tried something a little crazy:
Not sure how I feel about it, but wanted to explore the pattern side of things like we discussed
I say photo over pattern if you can find a good one. Or a real subtle pattern that doesn't jump out too much.
This was feels a lil camo to me.

That's an attempt with a pattern. Not a huge fan :/
Tagging @ErieMeyer @mollieru and @cew821 to review :)
Love love the photos. Especially the power lines. (the green of the style guide clashes w the green of the grass, but I can fix colors in photoshop for you if ya like…)
The power lines are my fav too
Also love the power lines! @jateeter -- any concerns about the framing?
Also -- thoughts about "Green Button" added above the tagline?
@ErieMeyer re: Green Button above the tagline, it looked messy to me when I was playing with things. I created the header at the top to hopefully add some context (and provide a good place for legacy page support)
I think the concern is that we need to reform a number of the legacy pages rather than transition them. For example, we're postponing FAQs, developers are already linked at the bottom, adopters are on the front page, about is on the front page, and sign up/how to are through the "mailto" link rather than a form/public process.
I've made some edits to the styling of the image. One thing is it's not quite as high-res as I would like. I couldn't find anything better, though. If someone else does, please let me know!
I think this image is fine. Could you please add "green button" above the fold? Having the first mention be "what is green button?" makes it look like this is a green button debunking site ;)
Put a title on there. Does that work?

Green Button is a private and secure way to get your energy usage information electronically. instead of Green Button is a secure way to get your energy usage information electronically. ??
