No trasnparent gif #232

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. display a gif image from timthumb.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
trasnparent gif 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
timthumb 2.7

Please provide any additional information below.
I'm unable to get transparent gif correctly. They come with black background.

You really should be using transparent PNG's. But that's not really a good 
excuse because timthumb shouldn't give you a black background for transparent 
GIF's. I'll try and fix this this week.
