What is the procedure when you submit an article to a journal? Do you have a set of pandoc templates or do you work directly on the word or latex output to match journal requirements?

I think for now we say that we have been successful submitted PDFs to journals but with DOCX support, it should be straightforward -- in principle -- to apply a journal-supplied Style file to content produced by Manubot.

I'll make a small pull request to add something to the text along these lines. In the response letter I can say more about how styles might be applied through Pandoc's --reference-doc (https://github.com/manubot/rootstock/issues/189), but because we aren't doing that yet I'll keep that out of the manuscript.
