Prevent restarting the HAPoxy server after each certificate renewal.

We have a HAPoxy server serving few thousands of domain's (on SSL) and on each day we have a few hundreds of domains due for renewal. The issue is when a certificate is renewed HAProxy is restarted, that causes the down time and this happens 100 times a day (once for each domain when its certificate is renewed) So my question is:

Is there a way to instruct the certbot-haproxy to not to restart the HAProxy after each renewal and only restart the haproxy when all due certificates are renewed?
if this is not possible, is there any workaround to this?
