Rethink Medium layout & organization

Brief summary of task:

Like everything else, our Medium publication grew organically over the last few years. At this stage it might be good to rethink how it's organized.

Objectives of task:

Look at Medium: https://medium.com/planet4 think about what's showing up *reorganized based on AoP and Community strategy

I'm a big fan of your Medium and I'm interested in working on this!

According to the Greenpeace P4 Architecture of Participation, the top 4 reasons people contribute to open source projects are:

1. Values alignment
2. Gaining experiences
3. Recognition
4. Contributing to social good

Therefore, our Medium should be organized in a way that highlights these reasons for people to contribute to this project. Here are a few respective suggestions to increase people's engagement and contributions:

1. Highlight your values and missions on the home page of Medium with a concise article where you can use a word cloud to highlight your values. These values will reinforce people's purpose for working on this project.
2. Giving out badges and gamify the contribution process for newbies who are trying to gain experiences and give them feedback on their code on Github. You could list a name column on Medium that shows who made the latest updates.
3. Add a subtitle called "Shoutout" that highlights individuals who made huge contributions to the open-source project and gives them the recognition that they deserve. This will be a short Q&A blog interview that lets people know more about the contribution this person made and who they are in their personal lives, which will enhance the feeling of a community too.
4. Feature community impact blogs on the home page that show people what social good they've created, so they can understand how their contributions fit into the bigger mission.
5. Additionally, I would make the subtitle more clear and descriptive since I wouldn't understand what they mean when I just look across the titles.

That's all my suggestions and I hope these are helpful :)
