Hard to see what the AIs are doing in general, some proposals

Especially, when my deck is modified you should highlight more:
-e.g. Gold stolen, Festival changed to Duchy.

Also maybe with a highlight on a card indicate what the AIs bought

Etc. 

(Maybe an isotropic like log with swipe could appear.)

Maybe just scrolling down automatically for a the play log already helps.
Also maybe having a minimal mode of the play log. Including only what he bought 
and how he modified other's deck.
