@rpspringuel This one is deep in the C (yacc) code, but if you feel like reviewing it, I'd appreciate it. If not, I'll merge in a few days.

When I run the tests I only get one failure: gabc-output/bugs/fix-601.gabc.

The placement of the accent over the æ is slightly displaced. That's an <sp> tag that opens and closes in the same syllable, however, so I don't think its related. Probably just a minor font thing.

I would agree. I don't get that (or maybe it's lower than the tolerances I have set) and that's a compose character.
