Feature Request - Save Ostinato GUI configuration (or last session)? #108

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Currently you cannot save the state of the GUI, such that on reopening; the
same PortGroups are loaded and the same ports are shown in the statistics
window.
2. Even better would be a full session save, including mapping of streams to
ports.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
New Feature Request

What version and revision of the product are you using (available in the
About dialog)? On what operating system?
0.5.1 Linux and Windows

One more vote for saving the entire session or at least the streams from all
ports.

Thanks

One more vote! I intended to vote months ago, but didn't realize I haven't done
it. This will be an extremely important feature as my setup environment will
usually involve up to 12 ports. So we can imagine what a user has to go through
when setting up the session for the entire 12 ports. My company is actually
considering selling a Test Equipment product using Ostinato (with proper
licensing of course). But it is currently on hold due to resourcing issue. The
most important feqture is indeed the session save/load feature.
