MK2(s) compatibility state? #23

Hello, i did the bear upgrade and updated my MK2S to MK2.5. Now i build a MK2S with the left frame/parts. Can i use this extrude/x-axis parts for a MK2S build (without filament sensor and old pinda)?

Hi @BenRoe

Dev is still ongoing but next version should include MK2s. You can use the MK2.5 Bear extruder/axis on MK2s but you will loose around 5mm on Y axis.

Are you still building Bear MK2? It is possible to get Bear X-axis work on MK2. I have modified the probe offset on latest firmware and It should work without issues.

If you like, you can try it to confirm. (at your own risk). Are you able to compile?

Edit. I made firmware HEX Based on latest pre-release code, not tested.
