right-click or toolbar button to turn off Observer Widget #219

It would be nice to be able to quickly disable the Observer Widget by 
right-clicking, or by clicking a button that appears in the toolbar.

It is annoying when the Observer Widget is turned on and mousing over nodes 
pops up messages.
