Hi - I'm addicted to Youtube5, and saw the post on verticalforest that bugs should be posted here. I noticed that the downloading option for Youtube videos using Youtube5 is gone following my upgrade to OSX 10.10/Safari 8. Other functionality is probably also missing, but I really, really am missing that downloading option. Thanks again for a great extension, and I hope this is a bug that can be fixed quickly.

I am currently in the process of rewriting a lot of the extension, as it is thoroughly broken right now due to many changes on YouTube.

If you want some help, I'd be willing to lend a hand (though I know sometimes it is easier to work alone).

greneholt: If I re-download the extension and de-activate usage through extensions tab, will it auto-update once you are finished with the rewrite? Or will we be forced to do hard reinstall?

I use 10.10 and Safari 8, and it works fine, BUT, you do have to set your user agent to 7.1 to get youTube5 enabled.

@srich2013 I believe disabled extensions will still update, although I'm not positive. The best way to be notified of updates is to follow me on twitter.
