Is kafka version 2.5 currently supported? #128

Yes, the 2.5 is supported. The kafka-proxy development had started around 0.10/0.11 version and all subsequent protocol changes were added. The proxy should also work with kafka 3.4 as there were no relevant changes in the protocol
