Getting Started - Adding Files, Adding Collaborators, Scheduling a Team Meeting #2

@gretchenuhrinek (or really anyone from the team) Let's get something into this repo. You might copy the .gitignore file from the DHClass-Hub and/or move the splash page from the newsAnalysis PSC server space into this repo. Also, please make sure you have added all of your team members ( @ajnewton1 @Samantha-Mcguigan @jonhoranic ) as well as @ebeshero and me as collaborators. If you need a reminder on how to do that check out our git tutorial section on adding collaborators. Also, I have posted an issue on the DHClass-Hub detailing how to navigate between personal web space and project web space at the PSC just in case your sessions didn't save from Friday's class or if you are setting this up on your home computer.

Team ( @gretchenuhrinek @ajnewton1 @Samantha-Mcguigan @jonhoranic ) - please comment on this issue with your times of availability so we can figure out a good meeting time. It would be great if we can have a first project meeting sometime this week or early next week (Hamilton is meeting tomorrow (2/8) before class). Happy Coding and See You All Tomorrow!

I am having issues on adding files to the webspace

Every time I try and add some stuff it tells me that my permission is denied

@ajnewton1 this was a permission issue. The index file that was in the newsAnalysis space (that I just deleted) was owned by @ebeshero and the permissions were set so only she could write to that file. I went ahead and deleted it so now you should be able to add a new index page. Now with that being said make sure you edit the permissions to any files you add (including the About page you already have) so that owner and group can Read, Write, and Execute and so that others can just Read and Execute. Let me know if you are still having a problem!

Oops! Appears I was unwittingly controlling the space. Sometimes that will happen when someone posts a file: the person posting the file is officially given the exclusive individual "write" permission. Basically you can reset the rwx permissions so user and group can write over a given file--just do that via your FTP program. (@rjp43 can most easily show you how to do this in person.) Hi from Prague by the way! I'm getting ready for a presentation I'm delivering tomorrow morning. Glad to see people hard at work back home! :-D

I just posted some code for the website. This is not intended to be permanent, just added some stuff real quick just to try to get the ball rolling.

Thanks @ajnewton1 for getting a start on this; feel free to add those files to this repo as well! Also, I really like the font style you chose for your about splash page!
