E.g. ü appears as Ã¼.

Can not reproduce. Could you please provide more information about environment and steps to reproduce this issue?

Haven’t used vim-preview in ages … Just now I ran :PreviewMarkdown. Unfortunately, it crashed MacVim. – I’m sorry, but I don’t have the drive to hunt down the reason and try reproducing the original issue.
