Copyedit READMEmd up to --chomp section #62

I got as far as the --chomp section and thought I would stop and get your feedback. Is this good?

The changes are all small except for "bypass" which has a confusing meaning. I chose "act on" and "actioning" instead of "bypass" and "bypassing". What do you think? There might be other choices.
