WEB > 'Row of Three' should only render a single photo on mobile #30

Enhancement Description

As it stands when rendering a 'Row of Three' inside a carousel on mobile viewports - it creates a scrollable row of photos. This is quite unusual for presentation-only content and users are likely to be confused as to why we have selection of photos to scroll with no further purpose - so we should probably render only a 'primary' photo when there is only room for one.

Another alternative is to stack them into a column of 3 - but giving over this screen real estate to photos takes the user further away from the content they are trying to get to without much payback

Additional Context

Acceptance Criteria

  1. Only a single photo should be visible when a 'Row of Three' is rendered on mobile viewports

@camillewortman just a small issue I'd like to get feedback on. This only relates to when the website renders on mobile screens (i.e. tall and narrow).

The description says it all really. When we have a "row of three" photos - that are just for presentational purposes (i.e. not clickable like Featured Articles and the like are) - it seems odd to have them as scrollable panels.

Another alternative would be to stack them in a column-like manner - but I feel like this takes up too much screen real-estate and introduces too much scrolling when a user will want to get to the main content.

I propose that on a mobile device we show only the 1st of the 'row of three' photos (full width of the screen of course).

If you'd prefer to pick this up as part of our next meeting let me know and I'll make a note

This sounds fine to me, Dan, that perhaps we could take a look at it before we make each file decision.
