Meta Z fails to import video #183

I just installed the newest version of Meta Z [Version 1.0a15 (13.11.27.14.8abfa83)]. When I try to add a video file the leftmost panel just shows a grey circle. Nothing is added.

I had the program installed earlier and it was working fine, but then this happened. I deleted it using Forklift, which also removed settings, then reinstalled. The problem was already occurring, and I think it preceded upgrading to High Sierra.

This is what the application window looks like ten minutes after adding an MP4 file from the File menu (not drag and drop, although drag and drop does the same thing)… screen shot 2018-03-17 at 11 23 11 am

Further research reveals this is a known issue. I have downloaded the latest Beta and it works.
