The diverging figure images that Obi noticed were due to my intial attempts to improve the organization of docs figures into an images/resources/figures directory. This new organization accomodates figures w/ multiple parts that need to be displayed separately on different docs pages (like the variant figure's coordinates box), and attempts to keep the figure and its originating filename associated with each other. The duplicate image was due to the Variant figure being updated in the middle of this reorganization and the two getting out of sync.
