cannot clear table col filters in some entity table columns

In evidence & assertion tables (and maybe others w/ narrow cols), the filter clear icon is clipped making it impossible to clear the col filter.

Possible solutions:

add a 'Show All' option to the filter options that clears the filter
display an icon instead of the full selected value so the clear btn isn't clipped
