It is an invitation. Sorry for bothering you by sending an issue, but I just don't know where to contact you...

Dear Griffpatch: We are hosting a Scratch Game Jam with 855 people participating so far. And we sincerely invite you to get involved as one of the judges. Please allow me to introduce myself first. I'm a Scratcher from China, who used to be active on the Scratch community (Here's my personal homepage) and now I'm mainly active in Chinese Scratch communities. In January, I participated in the Game Jam hosted by CCW (short for Cocreate World, a Scratch community in China) with the theme of "Challenge Accepted", in which my team made a project and won the gold medal. And now I am cooperating with CCW to host the second Game Jam as the Owner. Your Scratch projects and tutorials are very popular in China and have been helping many Scratchers a lot and convincing us of the infinite possibilities of Scratch. Besides, you are the most well-known foreign Scratcher in the Chinese Scratch community. If you were so kind as to accept the invitation, the Chinese participants would probably jump out of their skin and give you a crazy welcome! By the way, the Game Jam is non-profit, with the aim of creating an open Scratch society and unleashing everyone's creativity. What's more, CCW is now creating a powerful Scratch mod - Gandi IDE (Click here for more information if you are interested), which is featured by real-time collaboration and rich extensions. And we believe that it will be a great help to the participants in the coming Game Jam. Though the main language used in this Game Jam is Chinese, we can translate the details of the Jam for you, including the subsequent entries. Our Jam is scheduled to begin on July 22, end on August 6, and announce the results on August 12. If you participate as a judge, you need to experience the demos and make some suggestions during the Jam (between July 22 and August 6), experience the final projects after submission, and rate the entries according to criteria (Aug. 6 to Aug. 12). It would be nice of you if you could record a reaction video about the entries provided you have the time. If you would like to participate or have any other questions, please feel free to contact me. If you can't participate, please let me know, that's OK. Hope you have a nice weekend. :)

Yours sincerely,

Arkos (or lanluzhifeng)
