configure dies with "checking for sin in -lm... no" #60

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.  fedora 19 ccrma kernel
2.  ./configure
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

no Makefile.  configure stops with "checking for sin in -lm... no"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

amsynth-1.4.0, fedora 19....ccrma kernel

Please provide any additional information below.

message would seem to indicate a missing dependency...checked the dependencies 
as stated, they all seem to be on the system...

in the section about checking for sin...gtkmm....gtkmm 3.0 is on the 
system...it's > than what's requested...

FOUND IT.

needed some C++ libraries...not sure which, but one of...
gcc-c++ or libstdc++ or both.

make install -> worked perfectly and i love it as much as i thought i would.
