I created a draft election guidelines. I know some of you might leave, or not have much time for Grin.
However, we are moving from a system of 4 appointed and 2 elected council members to a system where all 6 members are elected. To ensure Grin governance and CC funds are protected for the decades to come, we have make proper minimal requirements and guidelines for elections.
I tried to balance my own more protective/technocratic view and those from Mac who is more focusing on the CC being democratic in the drafted text. Please review properly and suggest changes where needed. See this as a last responsibility of CC members stepping down, we have to make sure the new CC generation will have a proper foundation of rules, guidelines and high quality new CC members to count on as well as to protect and deter any attacks on Governance. It was mentioned in the past as well as the presence, governance is the most easy to attack aspect of most projects, including Grin.
