I found that your efforts to be very comprehensive with the description of the equations has made it a bit confusing. In equation 8, it is more typical to use a subscript rather than a superscript to denote the proportion of females (also in Table 4). Doesn’t this use of f also conflict with the f used in the description of the SOK fishery (equation 36 and 37) and the f in equation 4. I think these need to be resolved and renamed. Typically the f has been used as the sampling fraction in the statistical literature (Equation 4).
