Make authentication cookie last longer #18

The authentication cookie expires at the end of the session.

Maybe we should set it to expire further in the future?

while i'm not on campus anymore i would think that for current students plans 
is very
often used on public computers. 

My password is saved on my computer so its just one click for me to log on, for 
the
rare time that I actually close my browser window (vs. the tab that plans is 
in). 

I would rather make people log in than make people in campus labs remember to 
click
logoff.

If this is implemented it should be at the least an option that defaults to off.
