This is the current email content on start:

Then on finish

Can we have the job name as the submitted job name? Also the job description?

email contents are outside of gricli (and grisu) control, unfortunately. Thanks for bringing this to my attention though, this one would be rather high on priority list...

No, unfortunately not, this email is sent out by pbs. Submitted job name and job description are Grisu properties...

Hi,

These emails are coming directly from the local resource manager (PBS/Torque in this case), bypassing Globus (and Grisu). So can only report information available to PBS. The job description is not available ... and for the job name, you are seeing what PBS is getting: "Grid_ng2_efault".

PBS limits the job name to 15 characters. The way our grid is designed, the job names have to start with "Grid". That leaves only 6 characters for the job name - and Grisu is putting there the LAST 6 characters, which will likely be helpful to identify the job among a batch of similar jobs.

But, probably not much that could be done about this.
