There seems to be a little bug with the editing window in the R beta templates. It happens when you copy and paste, but seemingly at other times too in a more erratic fashion. It seems to introduce non-visible characters into the code that causes an error when it runs. I get an error message like “unexpected input in “”” “. There is nothing there in the code and the only way I can fix it is to delete the offending lines and retype them in. I wondered if it was something weird when interfacing with linux using a windows application and that they have different non-printing characters?
