Is Swarm ready for production? #91

Hello.

The idea of Swarm is absolutely stunning, I can't wait for Swarm to become something like PouchDB from the user's point of view. The ideas behind Swarm is amazing, but PouchDB has tutorials, handy admin panel, great api and code examples.

Is Swarm stable and ready for production? Can I use it today for production apps?

Are there any tutorials or code examples?

Hi Miloslav!

Swarm.js is certainly not ready for production. This particular repo contains abandoned code of historical value mostly.

But, thank you for the kind words! We are working to improve the situation.

But why it's needed to abandon Swarm then? And where to look for the tool that might replace Swarm?

This particular codebase is abandoned. We plan to replace it with the new code once the new js client is ready. The new swarmdb server is golang anyway.
