Find a way to express a number of bytes #9

When a data type is spread over several bytes. e.g. Measurement/Count has data from byte 1 to byte 7

Bytes will be described in the documentation filed of the types. It becomes to complicated to specify each byte and it does not add anything to the solution.

OK I though it would be good to define exactly each and every byte in the DB in case of integrating the database with external application. We will see this later then! Thank you ;-)

That was my though from the beginning to. That the bytes could be useful for a machine. But all this is handled in the mdf and just makes things more complex. It better to have the mdf abstraction for this. Keep It Simple Stupid (KISS) is a good rule I try to live after.
