Inherit selected attribute on initial load #65

Simply replaced [selected] with :selected

Thanks for the contribution (and sorry for taking so long to get to it!). I think the basis is good, but looks like there's a lot of indentation and other coding style stuff here too.

I'm currently writing a larger update to the plugin, so I'll keep this in mind as I go along!
