Pops Plugin Abnormalities #414

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. In recovery menu, if the Pops plugins are enabled.
2. Playing a PS1 game.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect to be able to run my PS1 games with my Pops plugins.

What I see instead is that, when I play a PSOne game, my buttons don't
work/have any effect on the game itself when I have Pops Plugins enabled.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

- PSP-1000 PHAT
- Custom Firmware 6.60 Pro 10

Please provide any additional information below.

When I play a PS1 game with the Pops plugins disabled, I can play my games just
fine. With the Pops plugins enabled (i.e. remotejoylite, cheatpops, joysens,
etc.) what happens is that none of my buttons have any effect on the game. The
game itself will continue on as if no one has pressed any buttons.
When I press "HOME", the typical menu screen comes up and I am able to move
around in the menu and make changes- thus, it's not my buttons that are acting
up. When I leave the "HOME" menu, and for example, press Start at a Main Menu
screen-NOTHING happens.
It's as if having the plugins enabled, stops my buttons from working in-game.
I have also installed the new popsloaderV3 to see if this remedies anything,
but nothing changes. I still have the same problem.

Seems like one of your plugins doesn't allow the buttons to be sent into the
game. It's probably either a wrong cheatpops remap or a wrong joysens config.
Try disabling all the plugins and then enabling them one by one till you find
which one is causing the problem.
