6.60 CIPL_Flasher Crashes (hackable PSP) #483

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Updated to 6.60 OFW
2. Installed 660PRO-C fix3 via "PROUPDATE" program
3. Ran CIPL_Flasher

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Previously I would get a menu asking me if I was certain to continue and etc.
Now just as it's showing the SONY logo screen while starting the flasher
program itself, it just gets stuck on that screen for a while until the PSP
shuts itself off.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
6.60 OFW
660PRO-C fix3

Please provide any additional information below.
This is a hackable PSP-2001 model (TA-085 V2 if I recall. Regardless it is
earlier that TA-88 V3.) Previously I was on 6.39 while using 639Pro-b10 and
the CIPL_Flasher application for that version worked without a single hitch, so
the PSP is definitely capable. I thought I'd go ahead and update to 6.60 while
I was at it when I decided to try the new Pro-C CFW, but it looks like I'm
going to have to downgrade back to 6.39 just to get a permanent CFW on my PSP
again.

Sorry, false alarm. I was holding the L button which supposedly resets plugins
and everything, but I guess it didn't because my plugins were still configured
exactly the same as before. It was probably a conflict with something from
game.txt. (I manually disabled everything using a text editor for now and the
CIPL_Flasher worked.)
