Duplicate "HPE Design System Components" into Design Tokens Figma team for testing

Prepare figma environment for tokens testing. We'll need to create a safe Figma team and workflow to publish and consume components for testers, such that the test tokens and component libraries will not be mistakenly used by non-testers.

We began preparing the Figma Tokens POC team files for testing. This involved:

• Creating a dedicated project for mock component and asset libraries in the Tokens POC team

• Duplicating HPE design system files and copying them to the new POC project:

  • Component library
  • Typography
  • Colours
  • Icons

• Going into the Tokens POC component library and swapping the linked libraries so the component library now references the new duplicate assets libraries (typography, icons and colour) and not the original HPE asset libraries.

• Updating the colour of the cover pages to orange and adding a 🟠 emoji in the name to reduce the chance of these tokens being mis-used.

The design tokens POC team is hidden and only visible to invitees. Anyone who is not on the team cannot see published components from within the Tokens POC team.

Note: If copying/pasting in a library from another team, you have to make sure that access is limited to the Tokens POC and not the whole of HPE, as the copied library will retain its original settings unless updated.
