Update dependencies #43

Looks like Prettier added a good bit of noise to this PR. I'm going to put in another PR without Prettier.

Changes in this PR:

Updated the dependencies
Updated the tests to use functional components
Updated README.md to use functional components
Updated snapshots as there was a slight difference in how jest rendered (removed new line)
Also updated snapshots as an undefined prop will no longer render
