Any way to lower priority of indexer-worker or exclude specific users?

I have an indexer-worker process that has been running for several days without stopping and is slowing down the entire server significantly. Is there any way to configure fts-xapian to run indexer-worker at lower priority and/or skip specific users with overly large mailboxes?
