Не запускается сервис

При запуске на OpenSuse 11.1 ругается а-ля

exceptions.RuntimeError: Thread.__init__() not called
Exception AttributeError: "type object 'Thread' has no attribute 'exit'" in
 ignored

Failed to load application: Thread.__init__() not called

прикручиваю к ejabber, запускаю не под рутом.
