Request: Add citation to the repo #1521

What did you do?

heavily use the library and love it.

What did you expect to happen?

copy and paste a citation for a academic paper.

What happened instead?

no DOI, or citation is available. I can create one, or simply link the URL, but would be nice to have a consistent option.

I plan to cite this library (one way or another) in a academic paper submission, it would be nice to have an official citation option. If you are willing, I suggest uploading to zenodo and adding a citation file.

@blainerothrock, I find it difficult to get a DOI from Zenodo. Zenodo requires access to the GitHub organizations my account is part of, including their members and other information that are totally unrelated to GRDB. This is not acceptable. It looks like Zenodo is not quite ready for personal repositories like this one :-)

Maybe you can help me find another way to produce a DOI, or maybe a plain URL will do, after all...

Out of sheer curiosity, may I ask the topic of your paper? 😊
